I have been working with individuals and couples at my private practice in Springfield, New Jersey since 1988.

I am a warm individual who listens well and will bring an integrative knowledge base to your treatment. I incorporate psychodynamic, attachment theory, and interpersonal understanding to tailor my interventions. As a seasoned psychologist I have plenty of life experience that gives me perspective to enrich the work with each client.

I can address both personal functioning issues such as anxiety and depression as well as systemic problems in your marriage. I specialize in psychotherapy with adults presenting with anxiety, depression, bipolar illness, and personality difficulties. I also focus on marital therapy with the goal of reduced patterns of escalating conflict and increased intimacy and connection. Another area of specialty is grief work for losses recent or distant.

I graduated from Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied & Professional Psychology with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. I completed my Clinical Psychology Pre-doctoral Internship at The Psychiatric Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

Prior to my current private practice, I was a Treatment Team Leader on the inpatient psychiatric unit and Associate Director of Psychology at Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit, NJ. I have a supervising appointment at Rutgers University where I train Clinical Psychology graduate students in conducting psychotherapy with their clinc cases.

I am licensed to practice psychology in New Jersey and New York and have PSYPACT licensure that allows me to conduct telehealth in 30 states. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the New Jersey Psychological Association.
